Bridgewater Pharmasave pharmacist Amy Oickle

Pharmacist Amy Oickle:

As a pharmacist, Amy encourages patients to stay with one pharmacy if at all possible "for completion of care. It's easy to miss things," she cautions, "if your prescriptions are scattered."

She is happy to go over a patient's prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. "Explain why they're taking them and when is the best possible time to do so." Amy also educates others by giving presentations. Recently she gave a talk to a group of nurse practitioners and physicians about narcotic prescriptions. As well she's called on to meet with seniors' groups.

Amy can give injections in the store, the most common being flu shots, pre-travel and protection from shingles.
